Whatley hired as Senior Media Strategist

Rinck Advertising is announcing the hire of Randall P. Whatley to the position of Senior Media Strategist. Whatley works closely with Rinck’s Account Managers to develop strategic and results-driven media plans on behalf of clients.

A media strategist for 33 years, Whatley has bought media in more than 200 U.S. markets and numerous foreign countries for a wide array of clients.  In addition, he has been an advisor to government officials, political candidates, public officials, and corporate executives in multiple media advisory capacities, from speech writing to media relations.

Whatley started out in the advertising business as a political consultant and lobbyist and then branched out into handling TV and radio advertising for retailers. That experience led to becoming a TV direct response expert. Over a decade ago he expanded into Internet marketing and is now also actively involved in social media marketing.

Whatley attended Louisiana State University and is the author of two books, two syndicated newspaper columns, and numerous magazine and Internet articles.  Whatley has hosted his own television and radio program and appeared often as a TV and radio program guest, including a CNN appearance. He has produced TV and radio ads and taught seminars ranging from Media Buying to Media Relations.
