Rinck Advertising recently hired Kathleen M. de Silva to the position of Account Planner, responsible for providing strategic client service and results driven marketing solutions to clients such as Gorton's Seafood and iParty.

With a strong background in marketing and advertising management, de Silva most recently owned and operated KdS Consulting in Windham, developing marketing initiatives that included public relations strategies, brand identity and advertising campaigns for clients such as Natural Fitness, Libby O'Brien Kingsley & Champion and Maineline Technology Group. Prior to that she was Vice President of Lapchick Creative in Portland where she served as Director of Client Services and Account Director. While at Lapchick, de Silva worked with clients including MaineHousing, MaineHealth, Maine Health Access Foundation and the Amtrak Downeaster.

A 2001 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, de Silva holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. A native of Turner, Maine, de Silva currently resides in Windham with her husband, Joe, and their two daughters.
