Public Invited to Mechanics Savings Bank Grand Opening Jan. 21 in Lewiston

Public can enter to win a new HDTV. Drawing scheduled for Feb. 14th.

Mechanics Savings Bank located at 664 Main Street, Lewiston, will host a grand opening celebration on Wed., Jan. 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The public is invited to visit the new, modern facility, enjoy a snack and a beverage, and enter to win the high definition television on display in the lobby.

The new Lewiston branch opened for business on January 2 and is more than 50% larger than the former facility constructed in 1973. It offers a larger lobby, a conference room for customer meetings, and an additional drive-up service window. The parking area has also been expanded and a freestanding drive-up ATM is open 24 hours.

Loan Officer and Branch Manager Mariah Robinson oversees operations and a staff of five customer service representatives. Also located at the Lewiston branch are Loan Officers Terri Cook who offers home mortgages and home equity loans and Van Perry who manages Business loans.

Architect Nathaniel Salfas of Gardiner, Maine, designed the new facility and R&R Construction, Inc. of Lewiston served as general contractor for the project.
