![]() Cabot® Creamery Cooperative to Sponsor Youth Golf Clinic with LPGA Duramed FUTURES Stars Briana Vega and Libby SmithRegistration is free and still open for junior players. Cabot® Creamery will welcome junior golfers from around New England to the Cabot Cheese Youth Clinic on Tues., July 20, at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, NH. LPGA Duramed FUTURES Professionals Briana Vega and Libby Smith will conduct the clinic being held in conjunction with The International at Concord, a stop on the Duramed FUTURES Tour. Vega and Smith will teach participants more about the game of golf and help them to improve their overall technique including swing, chipping and putting. Vega and Smith are sponsored by Cabot Creamery.
Golf Professional Briana Vega of Andover, Mass., has twice competed in the U.S. Women’s Open Championship and is consistently a top finisher in the Duramed FUTURES Tour. In 2006 she won The Golf Channel’s Big Break VI: Trump National series. In 2004 she won the Massachusetts Amateur Championship.
Golf Professional Libby Smith of Essex Junction, Vermont, is currently on the LPGA Tour. In 2004, she turned professional and joined the FUTURES Tour. In 2007 she won the Hong Kong Ladies Masters on the Ladies Asian Tour. She is a five-time winner of the Vermont State Women’s Golf Amateur Championship.
