As a member of the digital team, Mike plays a key role in Rinck’s efforts in digital marketing and new media technology for clients such as Gorton’s Seafood, PANOS Brands and iParty.

With a strong background in website development, Mike’s experience includes Open-Source Content Management Systems, Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.

Mike holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Computer Technology from Southern Maine Community College. While there he served as a Chairman for College Governance and Accreditation meetings, Student Senate President, Student Senate Public Relations Chair, Activities Committee Chair and Vice President of Leadership for the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Mike grew up in the mid-coast town of Belfast, Maine. In his spare time he serves as a Website Developer for the Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education.

The natural ability to absorb a bad situation and improve it without thinking, and in a way that others understand what has happened, and are alright with that.

Nastiest Injury:
One of my skateboard injuries

Helping those around me to understand the world as a beautiful place, not what it appears to be so often.

Proudest moment:
My epic college graduation speech at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

People in general failing at things in a humorous way.

Dream travel destination:
Kauai (again) but this time go to “that” place

Be careful not to give too much of yourself to others or you may not have anything left for yourself.
